Susan Shelley is a columnist and editorial writer.  She writes twice-weekly opinion columns for the Southern California News Group, eleven newspapers and their digital editions including the Los Angeles Daily News and the Orange County Register. Susan writes on national, state, and local issues with a common-sense perspective, blending deep research, clear thinking and occasional humor to bring complicated issues into focus for busy readers.

She is also Vice President of Communications for the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association, the most influential taxpayer advocacy group in California.  Susan is a frequent guest on Southern California radio and TV news and interview shows, and she is the co-host of the new Howard Jarvis Podcast on KABC-AM.
